[2013.08.02] 由於Motion的音跟台語「魔神」有點像，因此阿榮幫此軟體中文名字命名為「魔神模擬器」。
[2013.08.30] Genymotion有分是否跟VirtualBox一起打包的兩種版本，但其VirtualBox版本並不是最新的，若想使用最新版VirtualBox，可以下載不含VirtualBox的Genymotion版本，再由本站下載最新版VirtualBox。
[2013.09.06] 後來發現模擬手機版有很多人會出現黑畫面、中斷等諸多問題，建議Genymotion虛擬設備改選平板的版本，如：「WXGA 10.1 Tablet - 4.2.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 1280x800」，這樣跑起來就非常非常順！民間流傳玩「神魔之塔」會很快很順！Play商店英文搜尋請輸入：「tower of saviors」。
[2013.10.04] Genymotion需要使用OpenGL技術，因此無法安裝於VMware。
[2013.11.16] 從2.0版開始已經沒有「with Google Apps」的虛擬設備可選了！原因應該是有版權爭議必須解決，原廠正設法與Google溝通中，請按此看更新訊息。
